Neat Artists: Helen Ahpornsiri

Today I want to share with you an amazing artist I stumbled across, Helen Ahpornsiri. She makes these amazing pieces using pressed plant leaves. The result is just stunning! These are so intricate and delicate. Some of my favorite art styles of art are those that look simple but once you look closer its anything but simple! Her forms are just beautiful and she really knows how to use negative space. Seeing her work is so inspiring to me and I hope it is to you too! Now I'm in the mood to draw something. Neat Artists: Emily Diana Ruth

My latest obsession is the film maker/video blogger Emily Diana Ruth. I stumbled upon one of her videos a week ago and have slowly been wasting my fee time shuffling though all her wonderful videos. I've gathered a few of my favorite ones to share with you! I'm always enamored by people who can create beautiful things. So simple, warm and artsy! I just love it. After I'm done binge watching some videos I think I'll have enough gusto to get off my bum and create something beautiful. Even if its something small and silly, its good for the world. Don't you think?

Today's lovely reminder comes from the wonderful artist Cat Coquillette! I'm trying to get into water coloring so I'm super head over heels for this print! I think the world needs more positivity I know that I'm particularity good at being negative. I probably should be less proud of that fact, but I'm working on it! I need some positivity today cause the day seems to keep dragging on. The nice reminder that the future is bright is very helpful! I know that I am definitely thankful for tomorrow! (Especially so since its a Saturday and I can self indulge myself in projects with out worrying about "life".) Hope you have a wonderful chilly weekend my lovelies! 

Neat Artist: Camila Sitarama Carlow

I was wandering around tumblr the other day when I came across this amazing photo set! I just had to share. The artist is Camila Sitarama Carlow. (You can read about her here!) She did this project called Eye "Heart" Spleen. It an awesome concept where she takes natural items and sculpts them into organs. (Read more about the project here!) I love this concept cause it pulls humans and nature closer together. Both are very intricate and fragile. Overall they are just incredibly beautiful and amazing.

Neat Artists: RRRRRRRRoll Gifs

I don't really have much to say behind the creator of these lovely gifs. Mostly because I couldn't really find much on them. Or maybe I'm just bad at research. What I did find is that they are a group of Japanese friends that periodically release new gifs. Regardless, they are AWESOME! Photo blogs that I adore.

I've had a adoration for photography ever since Zoei got a me a lomography camera for christmas a while ago. Although since then I haven't really become a better photographer, just more obsessed and now have a bigger camera collection. But I still love photography and lomography and wanted to share a couple of my favorite photography blogs!

First! The Easily Distracted. The blog is run by the lovely Rhianne. She's super talented and I love her photos! I love that her section on cameras that she uses. Mostly because I love cameras and I love learning more about them so that I can decide what to buy next to add to my collection! The pros and cons of each camera is very handy! Needless to say I love her photos and I love her blog! Check it out and you'll for sure be inspired to go out and get a film camera.

Second! Antorra! This lovely blog is the photography goodness of Antonella Guarracino. (Can we just take a minute to appreciate how beautiful her name is!) This is a recent blog that I've stumbled upon. Its my favorite to waste time during my lunch break and ooh and awwe over her photos. She also did THIS post on how do develop film at home. I've been wanting to try this for ever but I haven't found any instructions that weren't really intimidating. But after reading hers I totally feel like I can do it! I think its an awesome project to work on this fall. Her blog is also full of resources! It's definitely one that I'm going to read when ever I need some photo inspiration!

Even though most my photos end up unfocused with a finger in them, I still love it! I should focus and get better, but as long as I'm having fun right? Oh Marc Johns, you're so talented! I love all his drawings. This is one of my recent favorites! I should really work on my illustrations. Maybe I'll just doodle and be lazy today. 

Neat Artists: Dethpsun

I'm feeling so inspired lately by random artist on the interweb. One of my favorites that I always love to oogle over is Deth P. Sun! A little bit ago I got one of his zines from a friend and I fell in love with it immediately! His work is simple and witty and has awesome textures. He's definitely one of my favorite illustrators!

Neat Artist: Jehan Choo

Whilst roaming good ol' tumblr I found this amazing artist! Jehan Choo! I'm not sure why but I'm completely smitten by his work. I come across a lot of amazing pop surrealist illustrators. But for some reason he feels unique in his subject content. He's got the perfect mix of creepy and cute. I love the color choices. Overall I just really like his work and so desperately wish I could paint/draw like he does.

I wish there was more posted on his blog/website. But this just means I'll have to keep an eye out for new works! 

Neat Artists: COPiO

There are so many amazing artists out there. I'm especially enthralled with illustrators. I'm such a fan of art and not only my own creations but the creations of others. I love dissecting and looking at other peoples art work because it makes me want to create! I think a little part of me wants to be like these awesome artists and that's why I'm easily captivated and obsessive over them. My most recent obsession is COPiO aka Pablo Aguilar.

My favorite part about his art work is the textures. The little details that he creates are amazing. All these little lines and patterns create awesome depth and dimension to his work. I admire that so much because you can tell how much time and thought actually goes into his work. But of course I love the creepy content. I love the way he draws and handles the noses on his characters. I know that seems weird  but to me the lines he useless makes it recognizable as a nose but feels so unique and specific to
him.
